Hidden treasures to play in the game – Gamification in the classroom

Hidden Treasures

In my game called “History Hunters” students can earn chance cards to play the game. The chance cards are scratchers I made that have a certain probability for each potential reward of XP or gold.

The scratchers are peel and stick and super easy. Check them out on Amazon below.

As a part of the fun I hide cards in my class for students to accidentally stumble upon. In this case it was a shelled out book and a student found it last week. They were so stoked and it added a whole new level to the game for this student and class when they realized that anything in my class could be a part of the game.
